Old-Fashioned Chili
    
  
Ingredients
- 1 lbs. ground beef
 
- 1 can (standard size) whole kernel corn
 
- 2 can (standard size) diced tomatoes
 
- 1 can (standard size) great white northern beans
 
- 1 can (standard size) black beans
 
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
 
- 1 teaspoon salt
 
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
 
- 1 teaspoon oregano
 
Optional Ingredients
- Corn/Tortilla Chips
 
- Corn Bread
 
- Shredded Cheese
 
Instructions
- Fry ground beef until fully browned. Drain off excess grease.
 
- Mix all ingredients into pot/crock-pot. Drain all cans before incorporating.
 
- Add water until pot/crock-pot is full
 
- Simmer for at least one (1) hour.
 
- If including cheese, add in cheese now until a full layer covers the chili.
- If wanting extra cheesy chili, mix cheese into the chili until the broth turns orange before creating the cheese layer.
